Description
Each player brings/buys 1 Archon deck and 1 Sealed deck from the designated set. At the start of each round, "the variable" — a card from a curated pool of double-sided artifacts — is randomly selected. All abilities from the variable are considered to be active for each match in that round. The variable cannot be removed from play or affected by card abilities. After determining the variable, each player selects one of their two decks to use for that match. If a player selects their Sealed deck, that decklist is hidden from their opponent. After a variable is selected, it is removed from the pool and cannot be selected again in a future round that tournament.
